What We Stand For

We are inspired by seasonal, quality produce. Our aim back in 2013 was to build a place we would like to go ourselves for breakfast/brunch/lunch or just coffee & cake. We continue this to this day which is why we have never compromised on ingredients or generosity. Our aim was always, & continues to be, to bring our vision of northern hospitality to life at our cafe and coffee shop in the centre of York.

We endeavour to use quality local ingredients and suppliers as much as we can, like Johnson’s of Terrington free-range eggs, Raydale preserves from Stalling Busk, Staal’s Smokehouse from near Beverley & local bakers, butchers & grocers around York. We have vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options everyday.

All our takeaway packaging, cups & straws are sourced to be mindful to the environment.
